Vibrations on a String and Resonance (1.9)

Students Manual The experiment gives you an introduction to the phenomenon of resonance, and the frequencies at which it occurs by visualizing the stationary waves formed on a vibrating string. We will learn the effect of change in tension and string length on resonance. We shall also investigate the non linearities in a vibrating string. Experiment also provides an introduction to another very interesting phenomenon of formation of circular modes on a string.
